loved the great outdoors. Nikki was actively involved in athletics throughout
high school, volleyball, basketball, track and cross country running. She
attended University of Idaho on a track scholarship, running primarily the
400M & 4 X 400M Relay and an occasional 200M & 800M race. Nikki
graduated in 1997 with a B.S. in Biology and minors in Zoology & Botany.
After taking a year off from school, she assistant coached track with her dad
in Alaska and also helped her younger sister Lindsey in her sports. She also
worked as an chiropractic assistant & personal trainer before going to
chiropractic school. She attended Northwestern College of Chiropractic in
Minneapolis, Minnesota to complete her doctorate in Chiropractic.

also was involved in athletics, competing in football, wrestling,
track and baseball for Huron High School. He attended South
Dakota State University on a football scholarship and played
middle linebacker for the Jackrabbits. He graduated with a
degree in Fitness and Wellness HPER with a kinesiology
emphasis and worked as a personal trainer for a year before
attending chiropractic school. Sports have always been a love
of his and he continues his passion for athletic by
implementing it into his professional career.

Dr. Stephen Moe in Minneapolis helped tailor our "athletes and active lifestyle" practice
by showing us that an office geared towards healthy individuals and not chronic pain can
work. For our externship (final schooling before becoming licensed), we went to Miami
Beach, Florida to work under Dr. Spencer Baron. Dr. Baron is the team chiropractor for
the Miami Dolphins and Florida Marlins In both clinics we learned advanced and cutting
edge techniques tailored to athletes and sports injuries.
Since moving to Corpus Christi and opening our clinic in August 2002, we have been
getting involved in the different athletic groups in the area. We have given presentations
to groups like STARRS (South Texas Area Runners, Riders & Swimmers), Senior Friends,
Baptist Church Alive 65 Group as well as others. Also we have been event sponsors for
many of the local races like BayFest, Island Duathlon, Bay-Ball basketball tournament,
Corpus Christi Triathlon, Beach to Bay, Wet & Wild Tri. and many other local events. We
have also worked at Professional Wrestling Events & Extreme Fighting Championships.
Nearly every weekend you can find us involved with some aspect of South Texas Local
events!
