Dr. Ian Soderqvist is a Corpus Christi native who graduated from Flour Bluff High School moved to Angelo State University to play football in 2007. He finished his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at TAMUCC before moving to Dallas to enroll into Parker University to study Chiropractic where he graduated and returned to join the Armadillo team in 2019.

Dr. Ian has been involved in sports his entire life and enjoys a wide range of interest. He placed 2nd in
Texas Strongest Man in 2013, played with the Corpus Christi Arena Football team “The Fury” Championship team in 2014, and won an Arm-wrestling Tournament in 2015. Throughout the years Dr. Ian has competed in powerlifting where he has achieved a 755lb Squat, 501lb Bench, and 815lb Deadlift. He also has enjoyed participating in other sports such as highland games and rugby.

Dr. Ian and his wife have three wild children, Isla, Jensen, and Rory. He loves to spend his time with his family to travel, hiking, and all sorts of activities. His favorite past time hobbies are reading, and exercising.
